Clickers can be excellent tools for behaviour reinforcement during training sessions. They keep your dogs engagement high and are an easy way for them to know they have produced the correct outcome, skill or behaviour. 

This can help with over-rewarding with treats to keep the reward based on you rewarding them rather than external rewards. However, it can also be used complementarity with treats that the outcome has been achieved, and they are able to claim their treat.
