The Triplett Model HSDL300 Heat Stress WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) Meter monitors indoor/outdoor heat stress to help limit the danger of heat-related injury. It simultaneously displays Air or Globe Temperature, Humidity, and Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT). Memory stores up to 12,000 readings each containing Air Temperature, Humidity, WBGT, and Globe Temperature with a user programmable sampling rate of 1, 5, 10, 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes. A USB interface is used for transferring stored readings to your PC in csv format. It features a programmable audible and visual WBGT alarm and a backlight that changes color as the WGBT value increases (Green/ Yellow/Red/Flashing Red). An In/Out function switch measures WBGT with or without the effects of direct sunlight. °F/°C switchable. Tripod mount can be used to free-up your hands when taking measurements over an extended amount of time. Includes (4) AAA batteries and a mini USB cable. 1-year warranty. Q. How do I change the unit of measure on the Triplett HSDL300?
A.To change units hold the “set” key for 3 seconds until screen changes. Then press the “down” arrow. UNT should appear on the screen, then press the “set” key again. You may now use the arrows to change between F and C. once done press the set key ten the Esc key. You should now be in your preferred unit of measurement -
Q. Is there a specific calibration procedure for the HSDL300
A. NO. None of the parameters in the HS10 are adjustable -
Q. The specifications state the operating RH% is <80%. If operating above 80% RH does/will this affect readings?
A. Please avoid condensation while RH is too high. Condensation will cause 99.9% display and might not revert to good condition even after days of water evaporation
